For the 2nd year in a row the Mngus Marauder Volleyball Team won the Chino Valley Tournment.  The tournament hosted only 4 teams this year and the Marauders were the dominate team.  Mingus beat Camp Verde 100-44 in game one, Chino Valley 100-62 in game two, and Greyhills 99-64 in game 3.  The games at this tournament are fun because we played for 1 hour or 100 points, which ever comes first.  This allows for continuous play and stops for time outs only.  The Marauders played well all 3 games.  Everyone got a lot of playing time and it was nice to see everyone play well.  Heather Rux and Kelsey Wokasch recieved all tournament honors, which was not surprise to anyone.  Any member of our team could have recieved the same all tournament award.  That is how well everyone played.
